Katelyn Cleveland, LMFT

Katelyn specializes in aiding those who feel like they don't fit into this world, which inevitably leads to feelings of discontent if left ignored. Issues such as chronic or abrupt loss and the accompanying grief, repetitive depressive episodes throughout life, a nagging sense of shame, and feeling disconnected/overwhelmed by just existing are some of main issues she treats in both teens and adults. She enjoys using tarot and dream analysis, along with art and somatic expression to help her clients heal.

Those who feel misplaced, misunderstood, or different than others often find safety with Katelyn. She offers a holistic approach to healing to address self-disconnect that results in anxiety, depression, resentment, low motivation, and uncertainty. She uses alternative modalities to address your whole self.

Individuals

Work with individuals blends evidence-based psychotherapy techniques to address your unique needs and goals. Rooted in understanding the unconscious patterns shaped by past experiences, therapy helps uncover the root causes of emotional struggles, such as anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges. By fostering self-awareness and promoting healthier coping strategies, integrative psychodynamic therapy empowers you to break free from negative cycles, gain clarity, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll work toward greater emotional balance, resilience, and fulfillment in your life.

Children and Families

Child-led play therapy empowers children to express themselves and process emotions through play, their natural language of communication. By creating a safe, supportive environment, this approach helps children navigate challenges and develop emotional resilience. Families play an essential role in the therapeutic process, with parents and caregivers actively involved to reinforce growth and understanding at home. Grounded in systems theory, family therapy addresses the interconnected dynamics within the family unit, promoting healing and harmony by fostering open communication and collaborative problem-solving. Together, we build stronger relationships and lasting change for your family’s well-being.

Happy Childhood

Every relationship faces challenges—but when disconnection, conflict, or hurt feelings take center stage, it can feel overwhelming. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) is a powerful, evidence-based approach designed to help couples restore trust, deepen connection, and navigate challenges together.

Whether you’re struggling with communication, rebuilding after a breach of trust, or simply seeking a stronger bond, EFT offers a path to healing and lasting intimacy

Nutrition

Diet and nutrition can play a much bigger role in your mental health than you realize. Nutrient deficiencies have a direct impact on brain function, mood regulation, and overall emotional well-being. Genevieve can help you identify and correct deficiencies by making strategic dietary changes and providing information on specific supplementation. You would be surprised how much of an impact a few small changes can make for lasting health and wellness.
